A Knox Box is required. 2015 IFC 506.1. 3. Knox fire department connection <br /> caps are required for all OUTSIDE FDC and standpipe connection points. <br /> 29. Premises shall be clearly identified by the correct address at the street entry. <br /> Buildings shall be clearly identified so as to be visible and legible from the <br /> access road. Individual apartments and suites, where applicable, shall be <br /> clearly and legibly identified from the access road. EMC 16.03, Section <br /> 505.1.1. <br /> 30. A portable fire extinguisher with a minimum U.L. rating of 2-A:10-B:C shall be <br /> provided within 75 feet of travel on all floors of each building during construction <br /> and prior to occupancy. 2015 IFC, Section 906. <br /> 31. An approved automatic fire detection system shall be provided as required by <br /> City Ordinance No. 3021-07, Chapter 16.76, of the Everett Municipal Code. <br /> 32. Fire alarm systems shall be installed according to NFPA Chapter 72, 2013 <br /> Edition. The alarm system must call point-by-point reporting to an alarm center. <br /> 33. Carbon monoxide alarms must be installed in all new residential construction in <br /> R-1, R-2, and R-3 occupancies. 2015 IFC, Section 915, WA State Amendment <br /> 915.1. <br /> 34. An approved automatic suppression system shall be provided as required by <br /> City Ordinance No. 3021-07, EMC, Chapter 16.76. <br /> 35. A copy of NFPA 72 Record of Completion form must be filled out prior to final <br /> occupancy (NFPA 72, 2013 Edition, Chapter 7, pages 107-147). 2015 IFC, <br /> 907.7.2. <br /> 36. Sprinkler shutoff valves shall be provided on each floor in every building three <br /> or more stories high, including below-grade floors. <br /> 37. Standpipe systems shall comply with NFPA 14 2013 edition. Standpipe <br /> systems shall be installed throughout buildings where the floor level of the <br /> highest story is located more than 30 feet above the lowest level of the fire <br /> department vehicle access, or where the floor level of the lowest story is <br /> located more than 30 feet below the highest level of fire department vehicle <br /> access.
