Director, and the various partner agencies discussed throughout this plan, assist <br /> residents in identifying community services that will be of benefit to residents. <br /> • Measureable successes will include the ability for the residents to successfully retain <br /> their housing, improve their self-sufficiency, obtain and manage regular income, <br /> access behavioral health services,and reduce use of public emergency services. <br /> B. DESCRIPTION OF THE FACILITY <br /> Everett Safe Streets Supportive Housing is a newly constructed 4-story or less building to be <br /> completed in 2019, at Evergreen Way and Berkshire Drive. There are 65 total units, with 55 <br /> studios and 10 1-bedrooms. Each unit will have its own bathroom and there will be a unisex <br /> bathroom on the main floor. Thirty-three units will be restricted to 30% Gross Area Median <br /> Income (AMI)and thirty two units restricted to 50%AMI. The entrance will be secured with an <br /> electronic controlled entry system. There will be office space for the provision of social services <br /> to the residents. <br /> C. DESCRIPTION OF THE POPULATION SERVED <br /> Everett Safe Streets Supportive Housing will serve low-income individuals who have recently <br /> exited homelessness. It is a low-barrier model that seeks to reduce harm to individuals who may <br /> have mental health, alcohol and drug addictions, and other behavioral issues that create high <br /> barriers to obtaining permanent housing. <br /> D. SUPPLEMENTAL SERVICES <br /> Current supplemental services include a common area laundry room and shared, internet enabled <br /> computers in the community room. All supportive services provided on site will only be • <br /> available to current building residents. <br /> F. ELIGIBILITY AND TENANT SELECTION PROCESS <br /> • ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA <br /> • Applicant must be an adult individual. <br /> • Applicant must be 18 years of age or older at the time of application. <br /> • Applicant must meet maximum income guidelines or have no income. Maximum rents <br /> for each unit are restricted to 30%AMI in 33 units and 50%AMI in 32 units. <br />
