Architectural <br /> 1. Specify the minimum local exhaust rates for all source specific exhaust fans on the plans. <br /> Exhaust fans shall be vented to the exterior. M1507.4 IRC <br /> 2. Each dwelling unit or guest room shall be equipped with a ventilating system complying <br /> with Section M1507.3.4, M1507.3.5, M1507.3.6 or M1507.3.7. The whole house ventilation <br /> system, (its requirements), and equipment type shall be identified on the construction <br /> drawings. <br /> 3. Roof projections shall not extend more than 18 inches into the 5-foot side yard setback. <br /> 4. Projections located in the 5-foot side yard setback shall be protected with one-hour fire- <br /> resistance rated construction on the underside of the projection with no openings allowed. <br /> 5. Gable vents are not allowed in locations where the roof overhang extends into the 5-foot <br /> side yard setback. Please remove gable vents from elevation drawings. <br /> 6. Provide attic ventilation calculations. Show size and location of all roof ventilation including <br /> the lower roof over the living room. <br /> 7. Stub-out #4 rebar at 18"O.C. at concrete porches, show on foundation plan. Note on <br /> drawings 7-3/4" max rise at landings at exterior exits. <br /> 8. Provide height calculations on elevation view. Show average base elevation, 1st floor <br /> elevation, top plate elevation of first floor walls, finished 2"d floor elevation, 2nd floor wall <br /> top plate elevation and the elevation at the ridge of the proposed structure. Also include <br /> the maximum height allowed based on the height calculations. <br /> 9. All text in details, sections and notes shall be not less than 1/8"in height. <br /> 10.
