Bjella' <br /> Subject: 1609 5th St <br /> Mr. & Mrs. Bjella, <br /> I am following upon your telephone call today in reference to the status of your permit application.As I mentioned on <br /> the phone there were items in the correction letter that were not addressed adequately,or correctly. <br /> Energy Code <br /> #1 The energy form submitted is from a previous code (2012) and needs to be updated to the 2015 Code. <br /> For the options chosen the following information is required to be shown on the plans. <br /> -R-10 Rigid insulation under the entire slab-on-grade located in conditioned spaces. <br /> -The furnace cannot be located outside of the thermal envelope (in the attic). <br /> -The location of the heating and cooling equipment and all of the ductwork shall be shown on the plans. <br /> Architectural Review <br /> #2 Specify which whole house ventilation system is being used for compliance with section M1507.3 IRC. <br /> Include the code section(s) (M1507.3.2 Controls) requirements for the whole house ventilation system you choose. <br /> #3 The main floor plan shows 24 inch overhangs in the 5 foot side yard setback.
