Compliance with the building thermal envelope requirements should be shown in section and <br />summarized on the drawings, per WSEC section C503.1. Please indicate the method of building <br />envelope compliance by completing a total UA alternative worksheet, or provide a completed <br />prescriptive worksheet to include detailed R-Values of new exterior walls, roof -ceiling details, slab <br />on grade and foundation details, per WSEC section C402.1. <br />7. All compliance forms referenced are available on neec.net. <br />Mechanical <br />1. Please include a mechanical summary for energy code compliance using the neec.net forms. <br />2. The drawings should indicate how the ventilation and heating will occur by the use of floor <br />openings or other methods, per IMC sections 403.1 and 403.3.1.1. <br />3. Please indicate the current mechanical system locations and cfm for toilet room and warehouse <br />per IMC Table 403.3.1.1. <br />All codes cited refer to the 2015 International Building Code (IBC), the 2015 International Existing <br />Building Code (IEBC), the 2015 International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC), the 2015 International <br />Fire Code (IFC), the 2015 International Mechanical Code (IMC), and the 2015 Washington State Energy <br />Code (WSEC), as amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the City of Everett. The current <br />IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2009 "Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities" <br />(ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal ADA regulations and standards may be more restrictive. Compliance with <br />these regulations is the responsibility of the tenant and owner of the building. Upon resubmittal of the <br />drawings, your application will be given priority and plan review will recommence.
