Much of the arca north and west of the planned structuro will be paved. The provided plan
indicates that a future boarding addition is planned at the south side of the clinic.
 SCOPE
The purpose of this study is to explore and characterize the subsurface soil and ground water conditions
Iwithin this site and present recommendations for site development. Specifically, our scope of services
includes the following:
l. Review available soil and geologic maps of the area.
I 2. Explo lhe site subsurface soil and ground water conditions with backhx-
excavated test pits. Backhce subcontracted by NGA.
3. Provide recommendations for site grading and earthwork, including structural fill
placement and compaction.
_ 4. Provide recommendations for fouadation support and siabs-on-grade.
5. Provide recommendations for lateral soil pressures.
_ 6. Provide a design for Ihe planned asphalt pavement.
7. Provide recomnendations for site drainage and erosion control.
 8. Document our findings, conclusions, and recommendations in a geotechnical
report.
 SITE CONDITTONS
Surface Conditions
( The project site is an approximately 0.95-acrn, rectangularvshuped parcel. Site layout and planned
improvements are shown on the Site Plan in Figure 2.
