I <br /> 1 8-20.3.GR8 <br /> 2 Construction Requirements I <br /> 3 <br /> 4 8-20.3(6),INSTI.DOCX <br /> 5 8-20.3(6)Junction Boxes, Cable Vaults, and Pull Boxes <br /> 6 <br /> 7 Section 8-20.3(6) is supplemented with the following: <br /> 8 <br /> 9 (******) <br /> 10 Where called for in the Plans, Standard Duty concrete junction boxes and cable vault lid <br /> 11 assemblies shall be installed in sidewalks, walkways and shared use paths. The <br /> 12 junction boxes and lid assemblies shall be installed and adjusted to be flush with surface <br /> 13 and match grade of the sidewalk, walkway and shared use path. Cable vault lid <br /> 14 assemblies shall be installed on existing cable vaults. Any sawcutting or grouting <br /> 15 necessary to adjust the lid assembly to grade is included in the Work. <br /> 16 I <br /> 17 Concrete junction boxes and cable vault lid assemblies will be City supplied. Concrete <br /> 18 junction boxes will have slip resistant surfaces and load bearing rings will be provided. <br /> 19 I 20 The Contractor shall adjust existing junction box to new grade in accordance to City of <br /> 21 Everett Standard Drawing 808 and shall be of the type indicated in the plans. The <br /> 22 adjustment operations shall be conducted to prevent damage to any conduits. All parts I <br /> 23 or materials damaged as a result of the Contractor's operations shall be replaced at no <br /> 24 expense to the Contracting Agency.
