' <br /> 34 Award Date <br /> 35 The date of the formal decision of the Contracting Agency to accept the lowest <br /> 36 responsible and responsive Bidder for the Work. <br /> 37 Contract Execution Date <br /> 38 The date the Contracting Agency officially binds the Agency to the Contract. <br /> 39 Notice to Proceed Date <br /> 40 The date stated in the Notice to Proceed on which the Contract time begins. <br /> 41 Substantial Completion Date <br /> 42 The day the Engineer determines the Contracting Agency has full and unrestricted use <br /> 43 and benefit of the facilities, both from the operational and safety standpoint, any <br /> 44 remaining traffic disruptions will be rare and brief, and only minor incidental work, <br /> 45 replacement of temporary substitute facilities, plant establishment periods, or correction <br /> 46 or repair remains for the Physical Completion of the total Contract. <br /> 47 Physical Completion Date <br /> 48 The day all of the Work is physically completed on the project.
