Structural:
11. Plans on Sheet S1.1 show two stair platforms that do not provide adequate vertical
support. See Grid A-B/4-5 on Plan 2/S1.1 and Grid A-B/1-2 on Plan 4/S1.1. The platforms
include intersecting beams and stair stringers that are simply-supported and therefore lack a
defined vertical load path. It appears the platforms may be intended to be supported by
cantilevering beams with knee braces per Detail 7/S3.1. The platforms should be revised.
Response: All elevations on S1.2 have been revised to show knee brace connections at all
correct stair landing locations. Detail 20 on S3.1 has been revised to show correct section cut
callout.
