The architectural drawings do not include plan views of the platform levels clarifying the
required construction. As an example, the stairway runs and intermediate platforms are not
clear. Other information may be required to clarify the proposed work. Plans should be
provided clarifying the work to be performed. See IBC Section 107.2.1.
Please see structural responses attached hereafter that cover the requested
information. It deemed appropriate in this case to delegate architectural part of
your questions to the structural engineer, because the scope of the Phase 3 is a
steel mezzanine designed by the structural engineer in response to the specific
mechanical requirements. Please see sheet A2.1 with added reference to the
structural drawings.
The intent of the architectural drawings is to clearly indicate the mezzanine
location within the building and to provide an updated exit plan that includes an
exit path around and from the added structure. Please see the sheet A0.1
Continuous with the above, sheets A2.1 &A6.1 provide further details and
dimensions for the rollup curtain (deferred submittal) and the added exit door.
S
•
TerraPower Permit#61810-016 review comments response (-1/1
