NELSON <br /> 2. Continuing with the previous comment, Plan 2/S1.1 shows a limited extent of floor grating <br /> and references the mechanical drawings for additional information. The architectural <br /> drawings shall show the/extend of the intended walking surface, including the stairways and <br /> grating panels intended to be temporarily removable. Where panels are intended to be <br /> removable, guards shall be provided. Details for the connection of the grating to the <br /> structural framing shall be provided. See IBC Section 107.2.1. <br /> Please see our response to the item #1 <br /> 3. The drawings do not include the stairways and intermediate platforms. Elevations, sections, <br /> and details should be provided as needed to clarify the required construction. The structure, including the stairways and intermediate platforms, shall be provided with <br /> guards along all walking surfaces.
