ECC is interested in the development of additional housing in proximity to its campus,in
part to reduce the proportion of students who must commute to the campus.
7. Washington State University(WSU)has established a presence on the ECC campus, and
is pursuing funding for additional student facilities and programs, which will create a
need for additional student housing near the campus.
8. There are several vacant and blighted commercial properties in the north Broadway
corridor, between 7th Street and 13th Street, which are in need of new investment and •
redevelopment in order to benefit the local neighborhood and greater Everett community.
9. Everett Transit has a transit station located on the ECC campus which serves the college
and surrounding neighborhood.
10.
