The shows generated 30+ leads for <br /> further analysis. EASC attended three of these shows; Medical Device and Manufacturing <br /> in Anaheim, International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago and FABTECH in <br /> Atlanta. The contract was renewed for 2015. <br /> • EASC exhibited at three Seattle trade shows, to attract investment projects; Aerospace and <br /> Defense Suppliers Summit(March 2014); Life Science Innovation Northwest (June 2014); <br /> Aerospace Interiors Show (Oct 2014). <br /> • Updated Aerospace Gap analysis for our region <br /> • Resulted in 6 additional prospects (potentially over 140 job) being added to our <br /> development funnel and six unsolicited proposals (90 jobs) to aerospace suppliers. <br /> • Attended Farnborough Airshow(England) <br /> • Met with nearly 40 aerospace companies, secured over six strong leads with companies <br /> interested in moving to Snohomish County and strengthened relationships with existing <br /> companies looking to expand in our region <br /> • In partnership with our economic development colleagues in King, Pierce and Kitsap <br /> Counties, with coordination provided by the Trade Development Alliance of Seattle, <br /> produced the Greater Seattle Region Global Trade & Investment Plan. The objective of the <br /> plan in to increase foreign direct investment in the region as well as promote increased <br /> exports by regional companies. <br /> 8 <br />
