Activities will include but not be limited to: • Respond to inquiries and requests by supplying data that will aid in business recruitment for the City • Work in partnership with the real estate community, including regional and national site selectors, to market and promote the City as a place for business • Assist the City in marketing targeted areas for redevelopment • Identify and contact local businesses for targeted business retention and expansion visits • Take a leading role in the compilation and distribution of data to site selection efforts, including but not limited to those initiated by the State of Washington and trade activities. • Provide staffing and general support for Snohomish Citizens for Improved Transportation (SCCIT) as an affiliate organization to EASC. SCCIT is engaged in the developing and promoting a coordinated, multi-model transportation system designed to move people, goods and freight in and through Snohomish County. • Provide presentations to the City Council regarding the state of the local economy with special emphasis on issues and trends impacting the City • Provide an annual report detailing the activities of the EASC with specific reference to the activities mentioned above See attachment (1) EASC 2015 Work Plan and attachment (2) EASC 2015 Legislative Agenda (Regional Priorities) 10
