Submit two new copies of the mechanical drawings with the hood information removed. The following list of <br /> sheets pertaining to the hoods is based on our review, but shall be verified by the applicant: M-400, M-401, <br /> M-500. All information associated with the mechanical hoods shall be removed from other sheets. See Note <br /> 22/M-100 and Section 3/M-501. Once again,these are offered as examples and not a comprehensive list. <br /> The applicant shall verify all hood information is removed. <br /> Response: The hood information removed or noted as reference only in mechanical set of <br /> drawings.Please refer to sheet M-000, M-100,M-401& M-501. The sheets <br /> M-400&M-500 removed from the mechanical set. <br /> 2. RTU-1, RTU-2,and RTU-3 are already included in Permit No. M1908-008. They shall be removed from the <br /> mechanical drawings. They should be depicted on Sheet M-100 but identified for reference only. The RTU- <br /> schedule on Sheet M-000 should be removed. <br /> Response: RTU-1,RTU-2 and RTU-3 removed or noted as reference only in mechanical set of <br /> drawings. Need to include for air balancing purpose.Please refer to sheet M-000 <br /> &M-100. <br /> 5. Submit a separate application for the hoods, including separate drawing sets. <br /> Response: The hood information has been removed from the mechanical set. The hood <br /> information shown in a separate drawing set, marked as HOOD SET in the title <br /> block. <br /> 6. Verify that the hoods are Type I. Based on this being a restaurant preparing food, it seems that the hoods <br /> should be Type I unless they meet the Type II definition per IMC Section 202"Hoods:Type II"and Section <br /> 507.3. Note that Note 22/M-100 identifies grease duct cleanouts and Sections 18/M-500 identifies the <br /> equipment under the hoods as"cooking equipment". <br /> Response: The hoods noted as TYPE 1 GREASE HOOD. Please refer to Hood Set, <br /> Mechanical Specifications 1/M-000;Mechanical Key Notes 1/M-100&Detail 18/M- <br /> 500. <br /> 7. The hood drawings shall show all connection requirements between the hoods and the supporting structure. <br /> The hoods shall be provided with lateral bracing in addition to gravity support. <br /> Response: Lateral bracing in addition to gravity support provided to the hoods. Please refer <br /> to Hood Set, details 137M-500, 14/M-500, 18/M-500&3/M-501. <br />
