See updated Sheets A-101,
A-103, A-105 & E-101 addressing items above.
Accessibility:
7. The dining area on Sheet A-101 appears to consist of primarily fixed seating with at least 25
seats. The space shall provide at least two wheelchair spaces with companion seating. Detail 1/A-108 provides steel frames to support rooftop equipment. See IBC Sections 1603.1,
1604.1, and 1613.1, and ASCE 7-10 Section 13.6. The following comments should be
addressed:
a. Calculations substantiating the design of the frames should be submitted for review.
b. Calculations shall include the attachment of the frame to the roof structure. Note that the
frame system appears to be cantilever columns that will develop moments at the
connection to the roof structure. The roof structure shall be evaluated and verified to be
adequate to support the loads.
CITY OF EVERETT• 3200 Cedar Street • Everett,WA 98201 • (425) 257-8810 • Fax(425) 257-8 7—
