The space is an A-2 occupancy with an occupant <br /> load exceeding 49 per the"Building Code Analysis"Schedule on Sheet G-001. The occupant <br /> load shall be posted near the main exit. The response states that the requirements are <br /> provided on Sheet A1.0. However, this sheet is not part of the permit drawing set. The <br /> requirement shall be specified in the drawing set. See IBC Section 1004.3. <br /> Response: See Sheet A-103 for note added in regards to the occupant load and posting <br /> required. <br /> Egress: <br /> 6. No additional comment. <br /> Accessibility: <br /> 7. No additional comment. <br /> 8. No additional comment. <br /> Miscellaneous: <br /> 9. This comment has not been completely addressed. The following comments should be <br /> addressed: <br /> a. No additional comment. <br /> b. No additional comment. <br /> c. Detail 4/S-100 appears to show connection of the post base to the roof blocking. The <br /> blocking width does not appear sufficient to allow installation of all lag bolts for the post <br /> base plate. The detail should be revised as needed. See IBC Section 107.2.1. <br /> Response: See revised Detail 4/S-100 along with Jon Martin's response letter attached. <br /> This review has been performed for general compliance with the building codes as adopted and <br /> amended by the state of Washington and the city of Everett. Corrections and comments made <br /> during the review process do not relieve the project from compliance with code and permit <br /> requirements.
