2. EXISTING CONDITIONS SUMMARY
The site covers approximately 0.21 acres. The existing site consists of lawn.
Approximately 3,876 sf (0.09 acres) of the site will be impacted by new impervious
surfaces. The entire site will be disturbed as needed for the clearing/grubbing and
restoration of the existing site.
Soil conditions were provided by GeoDesign, Inc. The soils were found to be fill material
over glacial till found at a depth of 24 inches below grade. Refer to Appendix A for soil
logs. The USDA Websoil Survey shows the soils as being Alderwood Gravelly Sandy
Loam. The general site slopes in the area of disturbance are flat and average
approximately 5 percent down to the northwest. Based on the existing soil information
and the setbacks of the proposed improvements from any of the property lines there is
little potential for erosion or sedimentation during construction assuming the basic BMPs
included in the SWPPP are installed and maintained properly. Refer to Figure 2 for an
existing basin map.
Bayview SFR 18-0806
August 2018 Page 5
