The following comments should be addressed: <br /> a. The section shall specify a minimum depth from the surface to the bottom of the footing <br /> of 18 inches. See IBC Section 1809.5 Item 1 and Everett Municipal Code Section <br /> 16.01.010(J). <br /> Response; <br /> The clarification has been provided on the attached revised plans. <br /> b. The columns bear on a pedestal above the footing that includes one #3 hoop. Three #3 <br /> hoops shall be provided within 5 inches of the top of the pedestal per ACI 318-14 <br /> Section 10.7.6.1.6. See IBC Section 1901.2. <br /> Response; <br /> Revisions to the hoops have been made per your direction. <br /> Building foundations are shown in Sections 8/S-3.1, 10/S-3.1, and 11/S-3.1. See IBC Section 1901.2. The reinforcement shall be revised based on the <br /> following: <br /> a. The areas of reinforcement is less than required by ACI 318-14 Table 11.6.1. <br /> Response; <br /> Modifications to the rebar spacing have been made and are provided in the attached. <br /> b.
