s I <br /> 13. Extend 2" water main from the existing 1628-46 St. S.E. to this property's building site, <br /> including a blow off. A minimum 1" metered service will be required for the building <br /> combined domestic/fire sprinkler service. <br /> 14. The construction plans must be designed from a site survey performed by a licensed State of <br /> Washington land surveyor. <br /> 15. Vegetation must be cleared a minimum of 10'(feet) back from edge of building on all sides <br /> and maintained as low growing ground cover as a mitigation assist for the excessive distance <br /> from fire hydrant. <br /> 16. All exposed ground must be reseeded within 30 days of the completion of construction. If <br /> reseeding is not practical due to weather or seasonal problems, the ground must be covered <br /> with mulch as directed by the City Engineer. <br /> 17. Temporary erosion control measures for construction activity must be operational prior to <br /> commencement of any clearing or earthwork. <br /> Fire Department,Comments—Jim Venturo—425-257-8100 <br /> 1. Access to the structure on this lot will be excessive. This may be mitigated by the installation of <br /> a residential sprinkler system in compliance with the requirements of NFPA Standard 13D. A <br /> minimum 1-inch domestic water service meter is required. <br /> Plans for such a system shall be submitted to the Engineering&Public Services Department and <br /> the Fire Department for review and approval prior to commencement of construction. <br /> A final "in the bucket" and alarm bell test, witnessed by a fire inspector, will be performed prior <br /> to acceptance of the system. Premise Identification - Premises shall be clearly identified by the correct address at the street <br /> entry. Buildings shall be clearly identified so as to be visible and legible from the access road. <br /> Individual apartments and suites, where applicable, shall be clearly and legibly identified from <br /> the access road. EMC 16.03,Section 505.1.1 (Address Posting Policy). <br /> Signage to be placed at 46th and Colby showing direction of address. <br /> 4. A fire hydrant is required within 350 driving feet of every one-or two-family dwelling structure. <br /> Mitigated by having a 13D sprinkler system installed in home. <br /> 5. Single Family or Duplex - Single family or duplex structures that are required to have a fire <br /> sprinkler system may use a single domestic water meter (see City of Everett Public Works <br /> Standard Drawing 502C). The size of the service meter(1-inch or greater)shall be calculated by <br /> the civil engineer or fire sprinkler designer e o-is- lely responsible for these calculations.
