Task Item: <br /> Task 1 —Mobilization and Site Preparation <br /> Item 1.1: Mobilization and General Services <br /> AIS has included mobilization and General Services such as preparatory work and <br /> operations necessary for the movement of personnel, equipment, supplies, and incidentals <br /> to the Site,the establishment of temporary facilities and controls necessary for the Work; <br /> premobilization work; insurance; project management; AIS's Submittals; dust and odor <br /> controls during implementation of the work; and all other incidental work items not <br /> specifically attributable to other SOW items listed herein. <br /> Item 1.2: Permitting <br /> AIS will obtain all permits and filing all regulatory notifications necessary for <br /> performance of the Work. Work will be completed in accordance with site-specific <br /> regulatory permits and associated requirements. The work shall be completed to the <br /> satisfaction of the City permits (as applicable)Engineer and the Owner. <br /> Item 1.3: Site Preparation <br /> Site Preparation includes, but is not limited to, subsurface and aboveground utility <br /> location and clearance; and general Site cleanup and sweeping after each work shift. Site <br /> Preparation will also include temporary utility terminations (Lock Out Tag Out) <br /> "LOTO", as needed for safe implementation of the work. The subsurface clearance (SSC) <br /> will be completed by a subcontractor to AIS. <br /> Task 2—Demolition <br /> Items 2.1 and 2.2: Concrete Slab Demolition <br /> AIS will demolish and remove all concrete slab required for access to the soil below. <br /> Work will include cutting, breaking, collection and removal of demolition debris from <br /> building interior for subsequent offsite disposal. Slab areas are as follows: (1) 20'x30', <br /> (1) 12'x12' and (1) 20'x20'. Existing slab on grade is 5 '/2" with 6"x6" Welded Wire <br /> Mesh. <br /> Item 2.3: Protection of Adjacent Structures <br /> Protection will be provided for adjacent structures, load-bearing walls and columns. <br /> There are no areas within work that will undermine or come within 10' of existing <br /> columns or footings. AIS will utilize Slide Rail shoring for any excavations anticipated <br /> over 5'. Currently this is only for the 20' x 30' area that will go up to 10' BGS. <br /> Item 2.4: Loading and Transportation of Removed Concrete for Disposal/Recycling <br /> The Loading and Transportation of Removed Concrete for Disposal/Recycling includes <br /> work associated with handling, loading, transportation, and offsite disposal/recycling of <br /> all concrete debris and other construction and demolition (C&D) debris generated during <br /> performance of the work.
