Item 5.2: Dust Cleanup—Production Area <br /> Technicians will remove bulk accumulations of dust and grime from the Production Area <br /> of the building, as shown on Figure 3 of the Work Plan. The dust/grime removal will <br /> follow the provided Work Plan and be completed to the owner's satisfaction. <br /> Prior to initiating the dust/grime cleaning in any given area, all electrical equipment and <br /> lamps scheduled for cleaning in that area must be temporarily de-energized and proper <br /> LOTO procedures followed. Only surfaces that are readily accessible from the floor level, <br /> man lift baskets, elevated platform and/or scaffold, as appropriate, must be cleaned. <br /> Item 5.3: Roof Ventilation Units <br /> AIS will remove debris/residuals from ventilation unit collection trays and oil-saturated <br /> roofing materials located on the building roof, and clean trays to a "visibly clean" <br /> standard. The cleaning shall be conducted using a combination of manual scraping and <br /> wet wiping using non-toxic cleaning agents. <br /> Technicians will clean exterior surfaces of the roof ventilation fans - only readily <br /> accessible fan surfaces will be cleaned. Prior to initiating the fan cleaning activities, the <br /> fans shall be temporarily de-energized and proper Lock Out Tag Out"LOTO"procedures <br /> followed. The fans may be re-energized only after the cleaning is complete and residual <br /> liquids have dried out: <br /> Item 5.4: Waste Handling, Transportation and Disposal — Non-Hazardous Waste <br /> This item includes all work associated with collecting, handling, containerizing, loading, <br /> transportation, and offsite disposal of all waste materials generated during performance of <br /> the insulation blanket removal, dust/grime cleanup, and roof ventilation units cleanup <br /> work. The work includes coordination of trucking and covering of loads prior to exiting <br /> the site. <br /> Item 5.5: Waste Handling,Transportation and Disposal—Solid Hazardous Waste <br /> Should any solid (i.e., non-liquid) RCRA hazardous waste be generated during <br /> implementation of the insulation removal and dust cleanup work, AIS will transport and <br /> dispose of as RCRA waste to Waste Management located in Arlington, Oregon. <br /> Item 5.6: Waste Handling,Transportation and Disposal—Liquid Hazardous Waste <br /> Should any liquid RCRA hazardous waste be generated during implementation of the <br /> insulation removal and dust cleanup work, AIS will transport and dispose of as RCRA <br /> waste to Waste Management located in Arlington, Oregon. <br /> 1502 E.Opp Street,Wilmington,CA,90744 �0 <br /> Office(310)522-1168 Fax(310)522-0474 / <br /> L <br />
