• <br /> • <br /> j <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION waiving public bidding requirements and approving the sole source purchase of a Granular <br /> Media Filter Pilot Plant from Intuitech,Inc. <br /> WHEREAS,the City has the need to purchase a fully integrated drinking water filtration pilot plant; and <br /> WHEREAS,Intuitech,Inc is the only manufacturer known to provide such a system with the necessary <br /> integrated control and monitoring systems; and <br /> WHEREAS,Intuitech only sells these systems directly to the end user,without intermediary distributors or <br /> dealers; <br /> • <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT that <br /> because there is clearly and legitimately only one source capable of supplying afully integrated-Granular , - <br /> -Media Filtration Pilot Plant;the City hereby waives competitive bidding requirements and authorizes the <br /> purchase of this equipment from Intuitech, Inc. <br /> Councilperson Introducing Resolution <br /> • <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this day of ,2015. <br /> Council President <br /> 154 <br />
