Upon roll call, it was found that <br /> Mayor Franklin and Council Members Roberts, Moore, Murphy, Bader, <br /> Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. Council Member Vogeli was excused. <br /> The minutes of the May 20, 2020, City Council meeting were approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Franklin spoke about rising tensions across the country spurred by recent <br /> events, and the increase in violence and the ongoing violence against black men. <br /> She extended a heartfelt message to grieving families and asked for tolerance, <br /> compassion, and support for one another, adding there is no place for violence <br /> and hate in our community. <br /> Mayo Franklin announced that due to the volume of input received from the <br /> Woods Creek community and neighbors, City staff was instructed to remove this <br /> item from the surplus property list being considered at today's public hearing.
