• <br /> May 27, 2020 <br /> ensure citizens are aware and to allow for additional comments prior to <br /> comprehensive discussions about the property. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Bader reported on his attendance at the Bayside Neighborhood <br /> meeting. He also provided an update from the Snohomish Health District, and <br /> encouraged citizens to engage in good practices such as wearing masks, washing <br /> hands, etc. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher also reported on her attendance at the Bayside <br /> Neighborhood meeting. She thanked the Mayor for removing the Woods Creek <br /> item from today's agenda, and she asked for a review into some of the ways the <br /> City could carve out some of the developable property. <br /> Council Member Murphy provided a liaison report on his attendance at the • <br /> Northwest Neighborhood meeting. He also noted the Public Facilities District <br /> (PFD) Board meets tomorrow, and he will provide an update at the next Council <br /> meeting. Council Member Murphy thanked the Downtown Everett Association <br /> and DEA President Patrick Hall for stepping in to ensure the continuation of the <br /> downtown flower program this year. He announced the DEA is planning a <br /> volunteer effort this Saturday and to visit downtowneverettwa.org for additional <br /> information. He also thanked Homage Senior Services for providing senior lunches <br /> at the Carl Gipson Senior Center. <br /> Council Member Moore echoed Council Member Stonecipher's comments about <br /> the Woods Creek property. He stated he would be interested in a refresher on the <br /> tragic loss of homes at the lower end and the relationship geologically of this <br /> property so that the City can be sure this is a sustainable decision over time. <br /> Council Member Roberts also thanked citizens for their input and City staff for <br /> fielding questions on the Wood Creek property.
