Map the public hearing Amount Budgeted -0- Expenditure Required -0- Account Number(s): Budget Remaining -0- Additional Required -0- DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT: On April 22, 2015, City Council adopted Resolution 6845 initiating the vacation of a portion of the north/south alley lying north of Wall Street between Oakes and Rockefeller Avenues. The proposed vacation is a component of the new Snohomish County Courthouse development project. A new alley right-of-way connecting to Oakes Avenue will be provided as part of the development project. The requirements set forth by law have been met and notices of the public hearing have been timely provided as required by RCW 35.79. RECOMMENDATION: Approve the vacation of a portion of the north/south alley lying north of Wall Street between Oakes and Rockefeller Avenues and direct staff to prepare an ordinance subject to the conditions as contained in the attached staff report.
