This two-year grant is for waste reduction and recycling for the period from July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2015. The goals were revised,reducing the amount of the grant that will be used. The original grant was for$188,722.21,with Ecology providing $141,541.66 and the City providing a 25 percent cost-share of$47,180.55. The revised grant is for$135,388.88, with Ecology providing$101,541.66 and the City providing $33,847.22. RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign the Amendment No. 1 to the Coordinated Prevention Grant Agreement G1400343 with the Department of Ecology,reducing the total to $135,388.88.
