G1400343 <br /> BETWEEN THE <br /> STATE OF WASHINGTON DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY <br /> AND <br /> CITY OF EVERETT <br /> Amendment Purpose: To amend the grant agreement between the State of Washington,Department of <br /> Ecology, hereinafter referred to as the "DEPARTMENT" or `ECOLOGY" and the City of Everett, <br /> hereinafter referred to as the"RECIPIENT." <br /> WHEREAS, this amendment will-decrease-the-state ant share-of-the Waste-Reduction &-RRecycling <br /> cl' <br /> grant cy mg--------- <br /> Public Information, Education & Outreach task of this agreement because the RECIPIENT is able to <br /> complete the project for less money. <br /> IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED that the agreement is amended as follows: <br /> 1. The total maximum eligible cost for this agreement decreases by$53,333.33 from$188,722.21 to <br /> $135,388.88 <br /> 2. The state grant share for this agreement decreases by$40,000 from$141,541.66 to$101,541.66 <br /> 3. The Waste Reduction&Recycling Public Information,Education&Outreach task will be replaced <br /> with the following scope of work to remove the multifamily outreach components: <br /> CATEGORY:Waste Reduction and Recycling <br /> TASK TITLE: Waste Reduction &Recycling Public Information,Education&Outreach <br /> Task Coordinator-Marla Carter,425-257-8875,Mcarter(aieverettwa.gov <br /> Task Description: The RECIPIENT, in conjunction with a consultant, will provide waste <br /> reduction and recycling (WR&R)information and on-site assistance to businesses and schools in <br /> the City of Everett. The outreach materials (such as flyers, post cards and newsletters) and <br /> assistance will focus on reducing waste, increasing recycling efforts, as well as preventing <br /> contamination in the recycling and organics waste streams.
