STORMWATER SITE PLAN May 10,2017 <br /> OAKES AVENUE APARTMENTS PAGE 16 <br /> Install silt fence in locations indicated on the plan or as warranted by Sitework and erosion <br /> control needs. <br /> PERMANENT SOURCE CONTROL BMPs: <br /> This project shall practice good housekeeping per the 2017 SWMM, Volume IV chapter 2: <br /> This project contains one duplex and one cottage. Both buildings are expected to be permitted <br /> per SFR permits. However, the zone is R-4 and this project may be judged as multi-family. If <br /> this project is evaluated under multifamily rules, 2017 COE SWMM Figure 1.1 Activity <br /> Worksheet has been completed and is attached in the appendix. <br /> Activity specific BMPs: <br /> Al: Cleaning of tools, engines or manufacturing equipment is not expected on this site. Car washing is <br /> a plausible activity. This site drains to the combined sewer system and is equipped to accept <br /> occasional car washing discharge. No illicit discharges are allowed. <br /> A2: Transfer of Liquid or Solid Materials is not expected as a part of this project aside from A2.4 <br /> Mobile Fueling of Vehicles and Heavy Equipment during initial construction phase of the <br /> project. Fueling shall be conducted by trained personnel and in compliance with the 2017 <br /> SWMM IV, A2.4. <br /> A3.6: Landscaping and Lawn/Vegetation Management: The landscape/landscaped areas shall <br /> be kept clean of debris. The use of fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides shall be reduced to the <br /> extent practicable. Excess or spilled fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides shall be contained and <br /> cleaned up per manufacturer's methods and shall not be washed into stormdrain facilities. <br /> A3.11 Application of Pesticides, Herbicides, Fungicides and Rodenticides for Purposes other <br /> than Landscaping may be used for building maintenance as necessary. <br /> A4.9 Parking and Storage for Vehicles and Equipment. This site contains private parking for <br /> residents and their guests, no public parking or equipment storage is intended. The on-site <br /> washing of vehicles is prohibited for this project. <br /> A4.4 Storage of Solid Wastes and Food Wastes. This facility is expected to produce refuse <br /> typical to residential living. Solid and food waste shall be stored in suitable, covered garbage <br /> containers. See additional BMPs per A4.4. <br /> A7.8 De-icing and Anti-icing Operations for Airports, Private Roadways and Parking Lots. <br /> Commercial use of de-icing agents is not expected for this site.
