• • ` • , _ y i a M. • r l • ORDINANCE NO. 4014. AN ORDINANCE annexing certain property to the City of Everett, and declaring an emergency to exist. WHEREAS, a petition for annexation was presented to the City Council of the City of Everett, as required by R.C.W. 35.13.125, and a hearing was held and determination made by the City Council of the City of Everett to annex said territory, i provided that such annexed territory should assume its proportion- ! ate share of all existing indebtedness of the City of Everett, and WHEREAS, a petition was then presented to the City Council of the City of Everett, signed by the owners of not less I than seventy-five percent (75%) of the value of the property to be annexed, as required by R.C .W. 35.13.130, and WHEREAS, the Review Board, as established by R.C.W. 35 .13.171, has reviewed and approved said annexation, and WHEREAS, the Commissioners of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation, did fix the 22nd day of April, 1964 for hearing upon said petition and caused notice of hearing to be published in one issue of the Everett Daily Herald, a newspaper of general circulation for the city, and caused said notice also to be posted in three (3) places within the territory proposed for annexation, which notice as published and as posted specified the time and place of hearing and invited interested persons to appear and voice approval or disapproval of the annexation, and WHEREAS, following the hearing the Commissioners of Everett, a municipal corporation, have determined to annex all of the property described in the petition as hereinafter set forth. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the property hereinafter described be, ! and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Everett upon the date of the passage and publication of this ordinance . Commencing at intersection of the centerlines of El Capitan 'lay and Merchant Way as shown on the Plat of Eastmont, Div. #3, according to plat thereof recorded in Vol . 17 of Plats on pages 42 and 43 Records of Snohomish County, Washington; thence N 89°49' east along said centerline of El Capitan Way for 30.00 feet to the east margin of Merchant Way produced northerly in its platted direction and the tpob; thence S 0°11' east along the easterly margin of said Merchant Way and Merchant Way produced for 545.00 feet to an intersection with the south margin of Meadow Way produced easterly in its platted direction; thence S 89°49' west alg said S margin of Meadow Way and Meadow Way prod. for 254.87 ft . ; thence on a curve to the left having a radius of 26.88 ft. and consuming an angle of 73°18' for 34.39 ft . ; thence S 16°31' W along the Ely margin of Meadow Way for 360.93 ft . ; thence N 73°29' west for 210.00 ft. through a point on the west line of Meadow Way which point lies S 16°31' W 425 .57 ft . from the angle point in Meadow Way W line opposite Lot 88, Plat of Eastmont, Div.
