Section 2: That upon the annexation of the property hereinabove set- orth said property thereof annexed shall become ! a part of Everett, a municipal corporation, and shall be subject to all its laws and ordinances then and thereafter in force, 1k PROVIDED that all property within the limits of the annexed territory shall be liable for its proportionate share of all existing indebtedness of the City of Everett contracted prior to or in existence at the time of this annexation and provided further that the property herein annexed shall not be released i from any taxes or assessments levied against it or from liability for payment of outstanding bonds or warrants issued prior to such annexation. Section 3: That the Clerk of Everett is hereby directed upon passage of this ordinance of annexation to deliver to and file with the Board of County Commissioners of Snohomish County, Washington, a certified copy of this ordinance of annexation.
