The proper curing methods must be followed in <br /> order to achieve this desired strength. Also to be noted 6,000 PSI @ 3 days is approaching mass concrete <br /> conditions due to the high heat of hydration due to the high sack content, heat that will be produced during <br /> the initial curing,and thickness generally required for a tower crane foundation. <br /> If 8,000 PSI @ 3 days is required it can be obtained by increasing the accelerator dose. With this strength <br /> requirement there is a high probability of thermal cracking if recommended mass concrete curing is not <br /> achieve in order to allow the temperature from the heat of hydration to stabilize before the forms are <br /> stripped and removed from the foundation. <br /> Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> 411 <br /> Michael C.
