<br /> Bid Item 44 & 101: Cement Concrete Curb, Type E-1 '
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Linear Foot(LF)
<br /> Measurement shall be per linear foot as delineated by the Contractor and approved by the
<br /> Inspector prior to removal.
<br /> The unit price per linear foot for restoration of concrete curbs or curb and gutter and shall be
<br /> full compensation for all materials, tools, labor and equipment necessary to complete the
<br /> Work in accordance with the Plans, COE Standard Drawings, Standard Specifications and
<br /> these Special Provisions, including sawcutting, removal, loading, hauling and disposal.
<br /> Bid Item 45: Cement Conc. Curb Ramp, Type B
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Per Each (EA)
<br /> The unit Contract price per each for "Cement Conc. Curb Ramp Type B_" shall be full
<br /> compensation for all materials, tools, labor and equipment necessary to complete the Work
<br /> in accordance with the Plans, COE Standard Drawings, Standard Specifications and these
<br /> Special Provisions, including sawcutting, removal, loading, hauling and disposal, and
<br /> including the "Detectable Warning Surface."
<br /> Bid Item 46: Cement Conc. Curb Ramp, Type D
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Per Each (EA)
<br /> The unit Contract price per each for "Cement Conc. Curb Ramp Type D_" shall be full
<br /> compensation for all materials, tools, labor and equipment necessary to complete the Work
<br /> in accordance with the Plans, COE Standard Drawings, Standard Specifications and these
<br /> Special Provisions, including sawcutting, removal, loading, hauling and disposal, and
<br /> including the "Detectable Warning Surface." '
<br /> Bid Item 47 & 102:Topsoil, Type A and Seeding
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Square Yard (SY)
<br /> Measurement for providing 4-inch thick Topsoil, Type A shall be limited to dimensions and
<br /> work limits defined in the work descriptions for other bid items, shown on the Plans, details
<br /> or COE Standard Drawings or as otherwise approved by the Engineer.
<br /> The unit price per square yard for Topsoil, Type A& Seeding shall be full compensation for
<br /> all labor, compaction, material, tools, and equipment necessary to provide compacted 4
<br /> inches thick imported Topsoil, Type A for the Work as required, from a Contractor-supplied
<br /> source in accordance with the Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions. '
<br /> The unit price for Topsoil,Type A&Seeding includes all costs for hauling, stockpiling, placing,
<br /> grading, compacting, seeding, and controlling moisture content.
<br /> Also, to be included in this bid item shall be the cost of all subgrade preparation and grader '
<br /> work, or any other equipment required to establish correct surfaces to proper grade before
<br /> the topsoil is placed, as well as all equipment required to spread and compact the topsoil
<br /> uniformly on the surface to be seeded. Also included shall be the costs for removing, loading,
<br /> hauling, and disposing of unsuitable or displaced materials.
<br /> Include cost of sprinkling during dry periods prior to placement of the topsoil and while
<br /> spreading and compacting the material along with turf establishment in the unit price for this
<br /> bid item.
<br /> Payment for Topsoil, Type A& Seeding will be determined by the square yard as measured
<br /> in place.
<br /> Bid Item 48: Adjust Existing Monument Casing to Grade
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each (EA)
<br /> The unit price per each for monument case adjustment shall be full compensation for
<br /> furnishing and placing the survey monument and monument case and cover, in accordance
