Participate in project design and implementation of maintenance <br /> and repairs on forest roads.Monitor forest roads for maintenance requirements.Acquire necessary permits for forest <br /> road projects when appropriate. <br /> Task 10—Project Management and Office Administration <br /> Description <br /> This task covers project management and coordination with City staff. <br /> Services to Be Performed <br /> Attendance of weekly water treatment plant(WTP)staff meetings as directed or needed,to keep City staff up to date <br /> on forest management activities that may impact plant operations. <br /> Attendance of weekly forestry meetings with contract administrator, scheduled. <br /> Attendance of all meetings and discussions in the office and field with Hill Crew, Patrol,Water Treatment Plant <br /> Manager,operators,and other City staff. <br /> Task 11 —Watershed Management <br /> Description <br /> This task is a supporting role to City staff for all security and recreation issues on Lake Chaplain Tract and water <br /> supply lands. <br /> Services to Be Performed <br /> Assist City staff in recreation access decisions. <br /> Participate in public meetings with recreation focused groups and committees.Review and prepare comments on <br /> proposed recreation activities that could affect watershed lands.This would include activities such as the Jackson <br /> Project, State Natural Resources Conservation Area(NRCA)planning and development,existing State recreation <br /> site maintenance and development,and other public recreation activities on or adjacent to watershed lands. <br /> Develop and implement a comprehensive Watershed Management Plan for Lake Chaplain Tract in collaboration with <br /> City staff.This will include security(patrol,gates,fencing,cameras), public access, roads,drainage,water quality <br /> specifications for forest management activities,wildfire prevention and response. <br /> Develop a Watershed Agreement with Washington DNR in conjunction with City staff and Snohomish County PUD as <br /> needed.DNR is the City's largest neighbor. Both parties have committed to the development of this agreement which <br /> will document land management and communication processes between us. <br />
