Ultimate Anchor Tensile Capacity <br /> 10 Resin bonded anchors shall be tested in accordance with ASTM E 488 to have <br /> 11 the following minimum ultimate tensile load capacity when installed in concrete <br /> 12 having a maximum compressive strength of 6000 pounds per square inch (psi) <br /> 13 at the embedment specified below: <br /> 14 <br /> Anchor Tensile Embedment <br /> Diameter(inch) Capacity (lbs.) If the resin bonded anchor system and anchor diameter are not listed in <br /> 19 the current WSDOT Qualified Products List, the Contractor shall also submit item 3 below <br /> 20 to the Engineer. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 For resin bonded anchor systems that are installed in a submerged liquid environment <br /> 23 the Contractor shall submit items 1, 2, and 4 below. If the resin bonded anchor system <br /> 24 and anchor diameter are not listed in the current WSDOT Qualified Products List, the <br /> 25 Contractor shall also submit item 3 below to the Engineer. <br /> 26 1 27 1 The resin manufacturer's written installation procedure for the anchors. <br /> 28 <br /> 29 2. The manufacturer's certificate of compliance for the threaded anchor rod I <br /> 30 certifying that the anchor rod meets these requirements. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 3. Test results by an independent laboratory certifying that the threaded anchor rod I <br /> 33 system meets the ultimate anchor tensile load capacity specified in the above <br /> 34 table. The tests shall be performed in accordance with ASTM E 488. <br /> 35 I 36 4.
