• <br /> • <br /> . _ <br /> A <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3963 <br /> AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of: <br /> DORN AVENUE from Holly Drive southeasterly for 450 ft . <br /> M/L; HOLLY DRIVE from its intersection with Ever- <br /> green Way northeasterly to the end of the existing <br /> water main 34.8 feet M/L southwesterly of 3RD AVENUE <br /> (in Plat of Beverly Garden Tracts Div . No. 1; Replat <br /> of Lot 15, Plat of Beverly Garden Tracts Div. No. 1 <br /> and unplatted land in Section 13, Twp. 28 N, R4EWM, <br /> Everett, Washington) and 3RD AVENUE from Holly Drive <br /> to 92nd Street (Dorn Avenue) by the construction of a <br /> 6" cast iron water main together with three (3) fire hydrants and <br /> ;p necessary appurtenances and doing such other work as may be <br /> o necessary therewith to make a complete improvement, all in ac- <br /> cordance with plans to be prepared by the City Engineer, and in <br /> accordance with Resolution No. 6960 of the City of Everett, <br /> creating a Local Improvement District; creating a Local Improve- <br /> ;; ment District fund therefor; and providing for the payment of <br /> said improvement by special assessments on the property in said <br /> • district under the mode of payment by bonds, and by contribution <br /> ' by the City of Everett . <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution No . 6960 the City of Everett <br /> • the City Council has declared its intention to order the improve- <br /> • ment as above outlined and doing all work in connection therewith ' <br /> to make a complete improvement in accordance with the plans and <br /> specifications of the City Engineer of the City of Everett; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That an improvement be made of: <br /> DC '9AVENUE from Holly Drive southeasterly for <br /> 450 ft . M/L; HOLLY DRIVE from its intersection with <br /> Evergreen a northeasterly to the end of the existing <br /> water main 34.8 feet M/L southwesterly of 3RD AVENUE <br /> (in Plat of Beverly Garden Tracts Div . No . 1; Replat <br /> of Lot 15, Plat of Beverly Garden Tracts Div , No . 1 <br /> and unplatted land in Section 13, Twp, 28 N, R 4 EWM <br /> Everett, Washington) and 3RD AVENUE from Holly Drive <br /> to 92nd Street Dorn Avenue) <br /> • by the construction of a six (6") inch cast iron water main <br /> together wits three (3) fire hydrants and necessary appurtenances <br /> and doing such other work as may be necessary therewith to make <br /> a complete improvement, all in accordance with plans and speci- <br /> fications to be prepared by the City Engineer, which plans and <br /> ' specifications are hereby adopted and approved . <br /> Section 2 : That the cost and expenses of the improve- <br /> ment, including all necessary incidental expenses, shall be borne <br /> by and assessed against the property included in the assessment <br /> district herein created as follows : <br /> The property in the area of the district subject to <br /> assessment for Dorn Avenue and Holly Drive will be assessed for • <br /> SOS of the cost of the six (6")) inch cast iron. water main in <br /> Dorn Avenue and Holly Drive, 50% of the cost of two (2) fire <br /> hydrants and necessary appurtenances, and the entire fixed <br /> estimated cost involved in this portion of the assessment district . <br /> The area subject to assessment for 3rd Avenue will be <br /> • assessed for the cost of the six (6") inch cast iron water main <br />
