Plan review
will commence when two sets of drawings are submitted to resolve the following issues. Please
provide a response letter, which shows where each item in this correction letter is addressed on
the plan set.
General
1. Within the property lines, the code analysis should indicate the level of compliance
submitted for building permit, including scoping requirements from Chapters 11 and 34.
a. Parking calculations, accessible route, and the limits for which the permit is being
sought should be clear both on the drawings and on the code analysis.
b. Please state in the code analysis if alterations or a change of occupancy is
applicable to any of the buildings for the property.
c. Please state in the code analysis if this project is voluntary to improve the
accessibility of the property.
d. The drawings submitted will be reviewed for compliance with adopted state laws.
Federal ADA regulations and standards may be more restrictive, and will not be
reviewed under this permit. The Americans with Disabilities Act is enforced by
the Department of Justice.
2. The landscape and architectural drawings are reviewed separately by different divisions
within the City of Everett. In addition to sheet A1.1 showing landscaping, please submit
a new drawing sheet for the architectural site plan.
3. The architectural site plan should indicate new work with dark lines. Existing
construction should be indicated with light lines, and demolition work should be
indicated with dashed lines. Please do not use shading to denote new work, since the
tone obscures the sheet content, for current and future reference.
4. Please include a reference site plan to shown the clubhouse and other buildings which
will be served by the accessible improvements. A plot from our GIS system has been
included for your reference.
f
