Please review and respond to the comments below. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections requested. Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved. General 1. Smoke alarms should be shown within each sleeping room (including den) and outside each separate sleeping area. Section R314 2. Each smoke alarm should be hardwired, provided with a battery backup and interconnected. Section R314 3. Carbon monoxide alarms should be shown outside of each separate sleeping area in the immediate vicinity of the bedrooms (including den). The alarms should be hardwired with battery backup. Section R315.5 4. The location of the crawl space vents should be shown on the plans in locations that do not interfere with required anchor bolts, hold downs or under posts. Section R408.1 5. The location of the underfloor access (minimum 18"x24" in floor, or 16"x24" in wall) should be shown on the plans. Section R408.4 6. The location of attic ventilation vents for each separate attic area should be shown on the plans. Section R806.1 7. The location of the attic access opening (minimum 22"xW0 should be shown on the plans. Section R807.1 Energy/VIAQ 1. The energy code notations should be updated to the 2015 code requirements.
