Please review and <br />respond to the comments below. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the <br />Building Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections <br />requested. Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved. <br />General <br />1. Smoke alarms should be shown within each sleeping room (including den) and outside <br />each separate sleeping area. Section R314 <br />2. Each smoke alarm should be hardwired, provided with a battery backup and <br />interconnected. Section R314 <br />3. Carbon monoxide alarms should be shown outside of each separate sleeping area in the <br />immediate vicinity of the bedrooms (including den). The alarms should be hardwired <br />with battery backup. Section R315.5 <br />4. The location of the crawl space vents should be shown on the plans in locations that do <br />not interfere with required anchor bolts, hold downs or under posts. Section R408.1 <br />5. The location of the underfloor access (minimum 18"x24" in floor, or 16"x24" in wall) <br />should be shown on the plans. Section R408.4 <br />6. The location of attic ventilation vents for each separate attic area should be shown on <br />the plans. Section R806.1 <br />7. The location of the attic access opening (minimum 22"xW0 should be shown on the <br />plans. Section R807.1 <br />Energy/VIAQ <br />1. The energy code notations should be updated to the 2015 code requirements. <br />
