He stated he attended the Delta Neighborhood meeting held Tuesday <br /> night. <br /> Council Member Vogeli proposed an emergency ordinance regarding homeless <br /> encampments during the COVID -19 pandemic: <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 45-Day Notice and Public Meeting <br /> for a homeless encampment EMC 19.41.090(J)(4)(a)(1)and amending the Posting <br /> of Notice (2)(a)(i)(ii) • <br /> She requested Council's support to send the proposed ordinance to the Legal <br /> Department for review and potential Council action next week. Council Member <br /> Stonecipher seconded the motion to send the ordinance to Legal department for <br /> review. <br /> Discussion ensued regarding housing issues, public notice, encampments, <br /> additional homelessness brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, and the City's <br /> housing strategy. <br /> Council Member Moore provided a liaison report from the Diversity Committee <br /> meeting held Monday. <br /> Council Member Bader encouraged citizens to follow the COVID-19 guidelines for <br /> wearing masks and social distancing. <br /> President Tuohy stated she attended the Cultural Arts Commission meeting on <br /> Monday. <br /> • <br /> 212 <br />
