Or, , <br /> midpe <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3012-01 <br /> An Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 2021-94,As Amended, <br /> The Comprehensive Plan Map From Single Family Detached (1.1) To <br /> Single Family Attached (1.4) For A Site Located East of 21st Drive <br /> SE And South of 96th Place SE <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett adopted a Comprehensive Plan in August, 1994, in <br /> conformance with the Washington State Growth Management Act; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett adopted the 10 year update to the Comprehensive Plan, in <br /> conformance with the Washing Growth Management Act on July 20, 2005; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Growth Management Act, codified as Chapter 36.70A, allows for <br /> comprehensive plans to be amended on an annual basis; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett initiated its 2006 annual comprehensive plan amendment <br /> process in July, 2006, which included consideration of Land Use Map amendments and rezone <br /> applications initiated by property owners; and <br /> WHEREAS, Alan Clark submitted an application to amend the Comprehensive Plan for <br /> Eastmont II from 1.1 (Single Family Detached) to 1.4 (Single Family Attached) on a 1.9 acre site <br /> located east of 21St Drive SE, south of'96th Place SE; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a workshop to review the application on February <br /> 20, 2007 and a decision public hearing was held on June 5, 2007, at which time they considered <br /> public testimony and heard applicant and staff presentations and considered the various aspects <br /> of the proposal; and <br /> WHEREAS, the subject area is undergoing annexation at this time, and that zoning of R-2A <br /> (Single Family Attached) will be set when the annexation is finalized. <br /> WHEREAS, at the public hearing on June 5, 2007, the applicant stated the reason for the <br /> requested is to allow a higher density project that retains detached single family development; <br /> and <br /> - 1 - <br />
