In a proposed ordinance,be,and the same 1s hereby- <br /> submitted to the qualified voters or the city of <br /> Everettfor thele ratification or rejection,at the <br /> next general election In said city,to be held on <br /> the 2nd of November,1915,and that said proposed <br /> amendment be so submitted 1n the form of a proposed <br /> ordinance,which ordinance shall read as fellows: <br /> oORDINANSE NO. <br /> M ordinance amending Section 122 of Art <br /> Ic1e XIV of the city charter of Everett,relating to <br /> the levying of taxes o real and personal property <br /> within said city for municipal.purposes. <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1. That Section 122 of Article <br /> EIV of the city charter of Everett be,and the same <br /> is hereby amended.That said section as amended shall <br /> read as follows: <br /> Section 12 MITATION OF T.LEVIES:The 'l <br /> council shall have authority to levy taxes upon all <br /> real and personal property,not exempt from taxation, <br /> each year as follows: <br /> oe parka and cemetary,not exceeding six-tenths of <br /> one mill. <br /> For libraries,not.exceeding Iive-tenths of one mill. <br /> Per all other purposes(except purposes mentioned in <br /> the succeeding section)not exceeding ten and nlne- <br /> tenthsmills.. <br /> BE IT FRRTHER RESOLVR9 that the form of the <br /> ballot to be used In the submission of such proposed <br /> amendment•ahall be substantially as follows: <br />
