February 19, 2014 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., February 19, 2014, in the City Council Chambers of the Everett <br /> City Hall, Council President Moore presiding. Upon roll call it was found <br /> that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Moore, Murphy, <br /> Gipson, Bader, Stonecipher, and Anderson were present. <br /> Council Member Roberts led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the February 12, 2014, City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson commented that he was joined yesterday by Council <br /> Members Roberts and Murphy for an announcement that The Boeing <br /> Company will construct a new 1.2 million square foot building for <br /> composite wing fabrication on the Everett Boeing site. The Mayor <br /> congratulated The Boeing Company and thanked the Council for their <br /> support. <br /> OATH <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson, seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts, to concur with the appointment of Andrew McLauchlan and Paul <br /> Stewart as police officers. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The City Clerk administered the oaths of office and Mayor Stephanson <br /> presented Officers McLauchlan and Stewart with their badges. <br /> 34 <br />
