RESOLUTION-HOYT AVE.-(CB 827-327) • Ron Camerson,of the Public Works Department,reported that continuing traffic safety improvement requests have been received for Hoyt between ;; 37th and the CBE. Warning signs,marked crosswalks and red curbs have been installed. It is felt the one-way street is not needed for traffic capacity as Colby and Rucker provide more than enough and existing Hoyt ;7 traffic between 37th and 32nd can be handled with one lane. This would result in increased traffic safety and accessibility to the neighborhood. On July 20th the TAC reviewed the history and alternatives and recommended that Hoyt be designated-two-way between 32nd and 37th St.for a one year trial subject to review by Council and TAC after that time. o Councilman Michelson.felt the street was too narrow and spoke against ) the proposal. . . Arnie Hill,EVerett POStMaSCer,spoke of access concerns for customers and postal fleet. He said traffic flow to drop boxes is erratic and , also the parking lot is filled up at different times of the day.
