23 <br /> January 19,1983 <br /> President Pope then asked if anyone wished to speak on the proposed '11F <br /> resolution. <br /> Virginia Miller,of 3412 Federal,spoke of the additional monies , <br /> requested by the Port Gerdner Neighborhood for acquisition of <br /> Doyle Park. She felt the School District was asking an unreasonable <br /> Price for the park. <br /> Councilman Aldcroft commented that there were some activities taking <br /> place regarding this park and when anything is definite it will be <br /> disclosed. <br /> Steve Burr,of 3425 Tulalip,pointed 000 001 Port Gardner Neighbor- <br /> hood's all0Cation wen.00,000,with 5210,000 additional for park <br /> acquisition only. He aleo talked about the number of projects <br /> submitted by the citizens,the excellent response for the historical <br /> Inventory and felt the projects they proposed would benefit all <br /> Everett's people,not just that neighborhood. <br /> Viola°ureter,of 551 Pilchuck Path,and Carol Davis,of the North- I'117 <br /> east Everett Neighborhood,commented the list of projects submitted 41,'' <br /> were very practical and the amounts allocat.were much less than <br /> they have been getting. <br /> Gail Chiem,of 4601 South 4th,said the Lowell Plan has yet to be <br /> adopted by Council and felt they have made good use of their block <br /> grant funds. She also commented on the calendars and stationery <br /> they have for sale,with the profits being put back into the fund. <br /> President Pope than asked if anyone else wished to spe.,and no one <br /> replied. <br /> Roll was called on the resolution with all Councilmen voting yes. <br /> Motion Carried <br /> COLLECTION AGENCY CONTRACT-1C13 831-201 <br /> Moved by Councilman Michelson,seconded by Councilman Overstreet, <br /> to authorize the Mayor to enter into a collection agency contract ,0!,j <br /> with Al Gordon and Associates,Inc. :1,1 <br /> Roll was called with all Councilmen 000000 000. <br /> Motion Carried T'' <br /> JOB ACCEPTED-CONTRACT REVISION-(CB 831-21) <br /> t1, <br /> moved by conncilman Gipson,seconded by Councilman Lenges,tO <br /> accept Lowell Neighborhood Park Addition by Frontier Landscaping <br /> 1:r7,7=1:lfger.i'Sc7,71=1%.'tolbrColEtTlXinTgr'nn:I'Z'1.;:3—t"Ct 1 <br /> Roll was called with all Councilmen voting Yes' <br /> Motion Carried : 111 <br />
