101 IMarch 16,1983 ARCHITECTUBAL 6 ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS L/ST Hob Theisen,of the Public Works-Transit Departments,explained this list was creeted as a result of review of 53 consulting firms by a consultant Selection Committee and Staff to identify those most qualified to do small and moderate sized projects for the City. Councilraan Aldcroft asked about the number of local firms on the list and Mr.Theisen indicated the majority were not City firms. councilman Aldcroft aeked how a firm could get on this list and Mr. Jones replied the City would be readvertising periodically for those interested. Mr.Theisen said the committee had taken into consideration the firm's location amd whether or not it was a..nority-owned firm. Moved by Councilman Overstreet,seconded by Councilman Langua,to approve a list of qualified architectural consultants and a list • of qualified general engineering consultants to perform small and moderately ed City projects. Roll was called with all Councilmen voting yes,except Councilman Aldcroft,who voted no. Motion carried DOWNTOWN TRANSIT TRANSFER CENTER CONSULTAI9TS Moved by Councilman Overstreet,seconded by Councilman Gipson,to authorize the City to hire the consulting firm-of Arai/Jackson Architects Designers as consultants for Everett Transit Downtown Transfer Center Amenities Study,Phase I. Roll was called with all Comecilmen voting yes. Motion Carried COUNCIL BILL NO.833-40 READING, AN ORDINANCE defining and.establishing the crime of prostitution and prostitution loitering and establishing the punishments therefor. Moved by Councilman Aldcroft,seconded by Councilman Langus,that this ia declared to be the final reading of Council Bill No.833-40 ire and the City Clerk is directed to call the roll for the final disposition of the ordinance.
