101 <br /> IMarch 16,1983 <br /> ARCHITECTUBAL 6 ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS L/ST <br /> Hob Theisen,of the Public Works-Transit Departments,explained this <br /> list was creeted as a result of review of 53 consulting firms by a <br /> consultant Selection Committee and Staff to identify those most <br /> qualified to do small and moderate sized projects for the City. <br /> Councilraan Aldcroft asked about the number of local firms on the <br /> list and Mr.Theisen indicated the majority were not City firms. <br /> councilman Aldcroft aeked how a firm could get on this list and Mr. <br /> Jones replied the City would be readvertising periodically for those <br /> interested. <br /> Mr.Theisen said the committee had taken into consideration the <br /> firm's location amd whether or not it was a..nority-owned firm. <br /> Moved by Councilman Overstreet,seconded by Councilman Langua,to <br /> approve a list of qualified architectural consultants and a list • <br /> of qualified general engineering consultants to perform small and <br /> moderately ed City projects. <br /> Roll was called with all Councilmen voting yes,except Councilman <br /> Aldcroft,who voted no. <br /> Motion carried <br /> DOWNTOWN TRANSIT TRANSFER CENTER CONSULTAI9TS <br /> Moved by Councilman Overstreet,seconded by Councilman Gipson,to <br /> authorize the City to hire the consulting firm-of Arai/Jackson <br /> Architects Designers as consultants for Everett Transit Downtown <br /> Transfer Center Amenities Study,Phase I. <br /> Roll was called with all Comecilmen voting yes. <br /> Motion Carried <br /> COUNCIL BILL NO.833-40 <br /> READING, <br /> AN ORDINANCE defining and.establishing the crime <br /> of prostitution and prostitution loitering and <br /> establishing the punishments therefor. <br /> Moved by Councilman Aldcroft,seconded by Councilman Langus,that <br /> this ia declared to be the final reading of Council Bill No.833-40 ire <br /> and the City Clerk is directed to call the roll for the final <br /> disposition of the ordinance. <br /> Noll Call: Ayes: Langus,Gipson,Overstreet,Aldcroft,Stephenson, <br /> Pope <br /> Neva: None <br /> Abstain: Michelson <br /> I <br /> Ordinance No.929-83 Adopted. <br /> /5 <br />
