Mayor Moore <br /> was excused. <br /> ' I Minutes of the meeting held January 18,1984,were approved as <br /> NEW CITY EMPLOYEE <br /> Jackie Hughee,Animal Shelter Director,called upon shelter employee <br /> ary Wilkes whO introduced new canine employee Me an to the Council. <br /> G g <br /> She will be working with him in the field. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilman Pope reported on the Houston meeting of National <br /> Association of Home Builders where the City participated with its <br /> affordable houaing display. He was proud to report that Everett's <br /> glTrO:Wrivtlwt1WI!:w1W,!;gdf:"Hrlt"W w" w"""W"w"ti"t" <br /> Councilman Michelson said a developer in the area had complained to <br /> him that he felt the City was making some unusual exceptions in this <br /> affordable housing project in regards to the width of streets. <br /> Councilnmn Overstreet commented on the legislation before the Senate <br /> regarding bid limit laws.
