26 danuary 25,1984 v The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order -- at 8:30 a.m.,January 25,1984,in the Council Chambers of the I Everett City Hall,President Stephenson prnsiding. Upon roll call it was found that all Councilmen were in attendance. Mayor Moore was excused. COUNCIL COMMENTS Councilman Pope reported on the Houston meeting of National Association of Home Builders where the City participated with its affordable houaing display. He was proud to report that Everett's glTrO:Wrivtlwt1WI!:w1W,!;gdf:"Hrlt"W w" w"""W"w"ti"t" Councilman Michelson said a developer in the area had complained to him that he felt the City was making some unusual exceptions in this affordable housing project in regards to the width of streets. Councilnmn Overstreet commented on the legislation before the Senate regarding bid limit laws. He then reported that Bverett's Police Chief was dealing representing the state'e police chiefs in legislation wi.coroners. : Councilman Overstreet then gave some brochures to the Council Secretary for distribution explaining"buckle up.lams governing children under the age of 5. Councilemn Langus asked Councilman Overstreet about the recent diecuseion regarding changes in fireworks lams and he replied it has been left 11 11111 jurisdiction to control days when fireworks can be sold.
