She recommended that the ordinance be expanded to <br /> allow banners other than just Christmas,the Fourth of July and Salty i"$ <br /> Sea Days and that a set of specifications be developed that all must <br /> follow. <br /> Councilman Pope commented that the Parks Department has knee heavily in- <br /> volv.in placing and taki.down decorations and banners which cost <br /> the City money. He suggested that the Chamber use a portion of its <br /> tourism funds for this PurPone• 1.:., <br /> Ms.Chernell felt lt could be possible for each festival to budget ' '41' <br /> funds for costs to put up and tWce down the banners. -at, <br /> President Stephenson brought up the matter of the wind factor and <br /> the City's liability.
