428 <br /> November 13,1985 <br /> A workshop on the Parks Department was held at 7:00 a.m. November <br /> 13, 1,85 at the Nendel's Hotel with Mayor moore-and Councilmen <br /> :::VM:MN;e'rrill'IZTEloanrdd t:rgrkiLpaatitt=n7teff,"° """' <br /> Bob Cooper, Park Director, reviewed the various divisions of his <br /> department including Park Ground maintenance Structural and <br /> Mechanical Maintenance, ...rest Park Gee., Pari <br /> Rehabilitation, etc. He showed slides of the various projects <br /> completed or in process including'Kesch Park, Howarth Park, tree <br /> removal for better viewing of the sound,etc. <br /> He pointed out the facility deficiences including adult baseball and <br /> softball fields, soccer, little league, youth basketball, tennis, <br /> meeting rooms,etc. <br /> He said there are three abases fields and four softball fields <br /> planned for Kasch Park. There are also three soccer fields planned <br /> for Walter gall Park and the tire fire site has been identified as a <br /> potential location for soccer fields. <br /> Waterfront'facilities are being looked at, including continued <br /> acquisition of silver Lake property.
