He is proposing to rehabilitate the <br /> existing three story school building(63,639 square foot) and build <br /> two three story living buildings (44,256 square feet each), for a <br /> total of 210 apartment units for moderate income elderly 60 years of <br /> age or older. The complex will also include food service, <br /> beauty-barber shop, exercise facility, TV lounge, library and <br /> activities room. <br /> Marshal Baker of 1810 Rockefeller asked abow: the taxes on the <br /> • <br /> surrounding residences increasing. kW. Ervine said taxes are based <br /> on comparable property and comparable sales in tile area and with the <br /> upgrading of the school, it could increase the sales value of the <br /> homes and also could increase the taxes. <br /> Mr. Baker then asked if the school district had been paid for the <br /> property if[hey hadn't when would they receive their money and Mr. <br /> Finley replied the school district already was in receipt of the <br /> money. <br />
