The incident happened just outeide the City limits. In his <br /> sponsorship of the dangerous dog ordinance, pit bull and pit bull <br /> terriers were included as dangerous dogs. Councilman Langus stated <br /> I I that these breeds are high risk animals and he may be asking to <br />! 11 bring the inclusion of these breeds in the dangerous dog ordinance <br /> back to the Council for consideration. <br /> Councilman Overstreet stated that a letter has been received from <br /> Lee Thomas, Administrator of the EPA, in response to the National <br /> League of Cities request. Mr. Thomas will provide assistance and <br /> Councilman Overstreet wanted it for the record that this avenue of <br /> communication is available to the City of Everett. <br /> Councilman Pope commented on the street improvements on 34th Street <br /> between Grand and Rucker. These improvements were done with 508 <br /> block grant funds and 508 street overlay. <br /> Councilman Pope stated that Council hae been invited to a special <br /> tour of the new County Fail Facility on a Wednesday, either next <br /> week Tor lunch or the following week for dinner. The cost will be <br /> very reasonable for the meal. President Gipson asked each <br /> couneilmember to advise the Council Secretary if they are interested <br /> and their preference. <br /> L611 <br />
